MAJOR SPONSORS UPDATE: Bakers Delight Heathmont who provide HCC each weekend with all the bread and rolls free of charge need our support. This round sees 2 significant milestones for 2 of the clubs most decorated players. Jon Cadzow plays his 300th game for the club and Peter Grierson plays his 400th game. Lets ensure that we get as many players back on Saturday 21st January after the completion of this round to help celebrate these outstanding milestones. Selection criteria for round commencing 10th December: At present HCC has an overflow of senior players, as of the next round commencing 10th December players who are NOT financial or have not entered into a payment plan with the Treasurer Jeremy Van Zuyden will not be selected. Currently only half of the registered senior players are financial with 10 weeks of the season already gone we need all players subs finalised. WET WEATHER PROTOCOLS: Please note all players are required to show up to grounds regardless of the weather, BHRDCA will post on their website the cancellation of any games due to weather if necessary. SPONSORSHIP NEWS: Wasteflex will be continuing their support with the $30-00 Coles Myer voucher drawn every Saturday night at the club rooms, remember that you must be present to win. The Manhattan Hotel has donated 2 Dinner vouches to the value of $40-00 which will be presented to the player of the round each game (seniors only). NEW SOCIAL OPPORTUNITY!!!!!! Your invited to become a foundation member of the newly formed Heatherdale Golf and Social Club (aka H.G & S.C.) We are a group of current and former Heatherdale cricketers and associates,who are keen on catching up for a game of golf once a month,supporting the cricket club along the way! Membership will cost you $55.00 (upfront),and gives you membership for 12 months!
We will be playing various courses on the third Sunday of each month starting on October 23rd at the mighty Warburton Golf course! Also throughout the year we will have varying games being a chook run one Thursday night,a Wednesday game at an elite course,and even a two day event down on the Mornington Penninsula!
As well as discounts for your golf,your membership will get you privileges at the Heatherdale Cricket Club throughout the year,mainly happy hours for H.G & S.C. members,social functions etc! You will get a numbered keyring,as well as discounts with our sponsor!

COUNCIL REGULATIONS: The Whitehorse Council has advised the following: In its order December 4th 2000 council decreed 19 reserves across the municipality as areas where dogs can be exercised off lead. IT ALSO PLACED CONDITIONS UPON THAT ARRANGEMENT: One of the conditions is that a dog cannot be off lead within 50 metres of the principal location of an organised sporting event, as such the existing order supports the removal of dogs from an area when people are training or playing. Could all Heatherdale players and supporters please adhere to the above by laws.
